Continuing a tradition of highly-acclaimed documentaries, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers' Damn The Torpedoes promises to be another welcome addition to the Classic Albums series. Retracing the steps taken to create this enduring American Rock 'N' Roll album, Tom Petty, Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell, and Ron Blair, in addition to co-producer Jimmy Iovine and engineer Shelly Yakus, partake in brand new interviews. Supplemented with new and archival footage, in-depth multi-tape analysis, and 40 minutes of bonus footage, this DVD proves why 30 years later, Damn The Torpedoes stands the test of time. [MSRP $14.98 for DVD, $19.98 for Blu-ray]

August 10 (pre-book order date July 16):

Nils Lofgren / Cry Tough / 2DVD
Another welcome addition to Eagle Rock's Rockpalast DVD series, Nils Lofgren's Cry Tough is an incredible live showcase of the guitar virtuoso, with performances from 1976, 1979, and 1991. This 2DVD set, following up concerts from Joan Armatrading, Meat Loaf, Thin Lizzy, and UB40 on the German TV program, captures Lofgren stepping into the spotlight as a soloist, after turns with Neil Young's Crazy Horse and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. [MSRP $19.98]

Roy Orbison / The Last Concert / CD
The instantly recognizable vocals, heart-on-sleeve songwriting, and unmistakable style of Roy Orbison is embedded in American's musical tapestry. The Last Concert, captured from his December 4, 1988 concert in Cleveland, OH, is a perfect homage to such a pristine and unforgettable artist. Performed just two days before his passing, this fourteen-song collection is the exact set list he played that evening, including seven top 10 singles such as "Oh, Pretty Woman" and the Grammy-Award Winning "Crying." Originally released as a limited run via iTunes in 2008, this historic performance, untouched by mixing or enhancements, is now available on CD for the first time. It truly captures one of the best rock 'n' roll singers of all time. [MSRP $13.98]

August 17 (pre-book order date July 23)

Jackson Browne / Going Home / DVD
American singer/songwriter Jackson Browne has carved out his place in America's musical history, not only with the seven platinum albums to his name, but his reputation for penning poignant songs for the likes of Linda Ronstadt, Joan Baez, The Eagles, and many others. Going Home, originally released via Pioneer in 1999 as a home video, is a reflection of his stellar career. Seamlessly blended live performances meld with interviews and rare footage for a full take of Browne's legacy, as well as the timeless nature of his music. Live renditions of classics "Running on Empty," "Take It Easy," and "Doctor My Eyes," in addition to guest interviews/performances from Don Henley, Bonnie Raitt, David Crosby, The Eagles, David Lindley, Graham Nash, and Jennifer Warnes complete this DVD package. [MSRP $14.98]

August 24 (pre-book order date July 30)

Pixies / Acoustic & Electric Live / Blu-ray
One of the most influential alternative rock acts of all time, the Pixies spent the late eighties/early nineties laying a foundation that would be treaded by countless indie/rock acts to come. After a decade of silence, they made their triumphant return with a 2004 reunification. Acoustic & Electric Live shows them busting out in 2005 with two performances – one electric (Paradise Club in Boston), one acoustic (Newport Folk Festival – their first ever unplugged show). Packed to the brim with bonus features, this set includes a live Boston club set from 1986, Newport photo gallery, and an acoustic rehearsal of "Debaser" that did not make the final Newport set list. Originally released as separate DVDs in 2006, these two concerts will now be available in a single hi-def package. [MSRP $24.98]

Black Label Society / Doom Troopin' Live – The European Invasion / Blu-ray
For over twenty years, Zakk Wylde has been burning up stages, both as Ozzy Osbourne's right hand guitar man, and fronting his own band, Black Label Society. Doom Troopin' Live follows their 2005 trek around Europe, for a sold out tour supporting the Mafia album. This 16-song set in Paris is completed with extensive bonus features, including four tracks from their Astoria show in London, music videos, and "Backstage Pass" – a 50-minute documentary following BLS on the road. Originally released as a 2DVD set, this blazing blast of heavy metal is now presented in high-def as a single disc package. [MSRP $19.98]

Electric Light Orchesta / Live: The Early Years / DVD
Commemorating 40 years in the business, Electric Light Orchestra's Live: The Early Years DVD is the perfect package to showcase the band's signature sound – a blend of lush orchestration and rock 'n' roll grandness. Formed in 1970, with global album sales in excess of 50 million, ELO is one of rock's biggest bands. The three concerts highlighted in this program include tracks from a 1973 performance at Brunel University, their 1974 appearance on the German TV series Rockpalast, and the 1976 Fusion concert at the New Victoria Theatre in London, filmed during the "Face The Music" tour. [MSRP $14.98]

August 31 (pre-book order date August 6)

Jane's Addiction / Live Voodoo / DVD and Blu-ray
Live Voodoo, Jane's Addiction's first ever live DVD, captures a musical celebration at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans in 2009. Filmed on Halloween night, the reunion of the original lineup – guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, drummer Stephen Perkins, and ever-enigmatic frontman Perry Farrell – proved they still have that flawless, ferocious flair that conquered the hard rock world of the late eighties/early nineties. Setting in motion a lasting alt-rock legacy, they are seen performing staples predominantly from their first two albums. The band worked their magic over the crowd, proving that a Jane's Addiction show is more than just a concert – it's an experience. [MSRP $14.98 for DVD, $19.98 for Blu-ray]

Barclay James Harvest / Berlin – A Concert For The People / DVD
One of the most popular acts in Germany, Barclay James Harvest is a proprietor of melodic masterpieces. Their signature sound is a fusion of rock and classical music. Performing to over 250,000 fans in front of the German parliament building the Reichstag, the band performed A Concert For The People on August 30, 1980. They played this historic concert to Germany's divided capital city, which was still sliced in half by the Berlin Wall. Featuring classics that span their career, in addition to tunes from the then-to-be-released album Turn of the Tide, Barclay James Harvest held this concert to personally thank the fans for their massive support. [MSRP $14.98]

September 14 (pre-book order date August 20)

The Everly Brothers / Reunion Concert – Live at the Royal Albert Hall / DVD
The harmonies, acoustic guitars, and brilliant songwriting of the Everly Brothers led to chart dominance and fan adoration in the late fifties and early sixties. In September 1983, after a 10-year split, Phil and Don Everly reunited at London's famed Royal Albert Hall, establishing a renewal in their partnership that lasts to this day. This concert, backed with a bonus documentary, visits one of music's most popular duos performing a set that Phil Everly would refer to as one of his most memorable. [MSRP $11.98]

Rory Gallagher / Ghost Blues + Best of the Beat Club 2DVD / The Beat Club Sessions CD
Irish guitar virtuoso Rory Gallagher scaled musical heights with his majestic melding of urban blues and hard rock chops. On September 14, fans can enjoy the dual release of the Beat Club Sessions CD and Ghost Blues + Best of the Beat Club 2DVD set. The CD hosts previously unreleased recordings from three different appearances of the German television series Beat Club in the early seventies, mostly extracted from his first two albums. Ghost Blues treats viewers to a complete and fully authorized documentary on Rory, featuring archive interviews with the man himself, and contributions from many of his friends and admirers, such as Bob Geldof, The Edge, and former band members Ted McKenna and Gerry McAvoy. The second disc of this 2DVD set displays Rory's onstage magnificence, with 90 minutes worth of footage from the Beat Club. [MSRP $24.98 for 2DVD, $13.98 for CD]

September 21 (pre-book order date August 27)

Kenny G / Live at Montreux 1987/1988 / DVD
When Grammy-Award winning saxophonist Kenny G hit the famed Montreux Jazz Festival in 1987, he was riding high with success, burning up the charts with his hit single "Songbird," as well as enjoying the success of his multi-platinum Duotones album. Setting the Swiss crowd on fire that evening, he was asked to return in 1988, just before the release of his Silhouette album. Live at Montreux 1987/1988 captures both of these performances, acting as a live photograph of Kenny's breakout into global stardom. [MSRP $14.98]
